Bakhanje is very remote village of Solu district. After the earthquake almost all the village houses were damaged. Everyone were forced to live under open sky in shivering cold at night. No government or any other NGOs came to help us in the isolated village. I quickly contacted Himani Trust for help which they took seriously and sent lifesaving materials. After that period, whole community lined to Himani Trust and we are working together to improve community health and education.
Our school was collapsed After the devastating earthquake. Only cramped up small rooms were there for the students. We were helpless in terms of teaching and learning. Only damaged structures were there. We were teaching students in open ground. It was hard to make student concentrate and make understand what we teach. Hot sun and the cold were making us suffer. We are thankful to Himani Trust that we need to suffer no more after building a modern building.
Himani Trust donated us Ambulance 3 years ago. It has become our life saver till now. In 3 years the ambulance transported more than 3000 patients from our village to the hospital. Specially, women and children from poor family are benefited by the ambulance service. Earlier, there was no option than walking for 2 hours to walk to the hospital. Now, we have felt that hospital has come to our door.

In this age, I lost my 3 children one by one. I am alone in my home. I started staying in Briddhashram since there is no one to care me. I had no one to tell how much I am suffering from pain in body. One day our crown princess came and asked us to visit the doctors for check up. Doctor gave me medicine, after that I am able to dance! I feel no pain in my body now. Thank you my princess for caring me.
