Shree Bhawani Secondary School in Palungtar, Gorkha was destroyed by a devastating earthquake that hit Nepal in April 2015. Himani Trust stepped into the forefront for the reconstruction of schools in Gorkha. Himani Trust identified the school in need of reconstruction and implemented sustainable solutions to improve infrastructure and educational resources. Himani Trust and the Japanese Buddhist Organization jointly built the school building at the cost of NRs. 3, 46, 53,433/- ( Three crores forty-six lakhs fifty-three thousand four hundred and thirty-three). The reconstruction efforts of Himani Trust involved refurbishing existing buildings and constructing new classrooms.  Himani Trust's mission focuses on providing quality education to children who lack access to proper schooling facilities. By investing in education infrastructure, Himani Trust aims to create a conducive learning environment that empowers children from disadvantaged backgrounds to fulfill their academic potential. This reconstruction work not only benefited individual students but also contributed to the overall development and prosperity of communities.
